Turf Strip

Battle Ropes

Ropes aren’t just for sailing and S&M. They’re a must-have tool for anyone looking to pack on lean mass. “The key to their effectiveness is that they work each arm independently, eliminating strength imbalances as they sculpt your muscle,” says John Brookfield, creator of the original battling-ropes system. They also provide a killer cardio workout.

VertiMax

Improve vertical jump, first-step quickness, and overall speed. VertiMax allows athletes to perform basic moves as well as replicate sports moves. Increases the explosive power of all major muscle groups in the legs to improve the vertical jump and acceleration / deceleration capabilities.

Weight Sled

The use of sleds in athletic training is not new, and for good reason. The sled comes in various shapes and sizes (such as the ‘racer sled’ from this years’ Games), which enable a diverse range of exercises to suit the athlete’s needs. They can be pulled, pushed or dragged. In the case of the prowler sled, weight can be added to make the exercise more targeted—whether for power development, muscular endurance or aerobic training.

Our Life Fitness, Rogue, and Legend, and PowerRack equipment means your lifting experience will be robust. You’ve got assisted dips and pull ups, weighted vests, and racks, cages, and presses to keep things safe.

Jacob’s Ladder

Universities and professional sports teams agree that Jacobs Ladder is the ultimate fitness experience. The unique design on the machine allows for both aerobic and anaerobic workouts. Aerobically, Jacobs Ladder not only increases heart rate quicker than other machines, but correspondingly results in increased VO2MAX levels.

Jacobs Ladder also offers the athlete the option of HIIT (high intensity interval workouts). Because speed of the rungs is determined by the user, HIIT interval training workouts can be achieved by utilizing 1-3 minute intervals at 85-90% maximum heart rate. Jacob’s Ladder emulates sprinting or stair climbing without incurring the high impact on joints.

While traditional stair climbers, ellipticals and treadmills are well-suited for the recreational athlete, Jacobs Ladder was designed to offer the interval training athlete an improved method for in-season, pre-season and post-season workouts.

Monkey bars are no joke! This playground staple may have been designed for play, but it’s the ideal piece of equipment to work on building the upper body and back strength needed to perfect a pull-up.
